Dr. J. Carlos Benito is regarded as one of the most advanced dentists in South
Florida. Dr. Benito is not only well known for his amazing smile makeovers, but
his kind demeanor and ability to make even the most frightened patient feel at
ease. This is something Dr. Benito takes great pride in. He has been in practice
for over 13 years. His advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics
provides him the tools to create the smile of your dreams.
Dr. Benito graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee in Memphis,
where he received a doctorate of dental surgery degree. After graduation, Dr.
Benito practiced in Memphis, Tennessee before moving to South Florida, to be
near family. Although, Dr. Benito is a native Floridian, he fell in love with
the hospitality of Tennessee. He does his best to bring that hospitality into
his Plantation practice.
Staying on the cutting edge of dentistry is very important to Dr. Benito.
Through post-graduate education courses, Dr. Benito has enhanced his skills in
cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontal treatment, and complex restorative
treatment. Dr. Benito belongs to the American Dental Association, The world
renowned Pankey Institute, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry, The Pinnacle Study Club, and many others. Dr. Benito exceeds
his continuing education hours, established by the ADA., 3 fold. Education and
advanced learning is very important to Dr. Benito and his staff.
Dr. Benito is currently working on his fellowship with the Academy of General
Dentistry (F.A.G.D.) He enjoys kayaking and camping when not furthering his
education. He is married to wife, Jenny, from Memphis, Tennessee, who also works
at his office.
